Overview

The wi.gov domain is used by different WI state departments for that agency's website. Each state agency maintains its own content and might offer multiple services and online access through its website. The majority of these services and systems are supported by the specific state agency and not by NIC.

For example the WI Dept of Transportation allows a person to renew their personal vehicle registration online. That online service is supported by the WI DOT, and question related to that type of inquiry would be directed to that state agency.
